Air Filter Cartridge
The filter cartridge should be replaced every three months (after approximately 450 hours of operation).
HOW IT WORKS
The BAF breathing air filter is used, in conjunction with other safeguards, for supplying clean air to the blasting hood. The BAF filter is designed to remove condensate and up to 98% of particles having a size of 0,5 microns or less.
Carded cotton (1) removes macromolecules. Aluminum oxide (2) absorbs oil and moisture. Activated carbon (3) eliminates moisture and unpleasant odors. Felt material (4) captures particles. Carded cotton (5) removes even more fine particles. In the final stage, breathable felt (6) acts as the last filtration layer before the air is delivered to the user.
